Peel the raw bananas and slice them thinly using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
Blend or finely chop ripe tomatoes to make a tomato paste or puree.
Mix the tomato paste with a pinch of salt to taste.
Coat the banana slices with the tomato mixture. Make sure they are evenly coated.
Heat oil in a frying pan or deep fryer.
Fry the tomato-coated banana slices in batches until they turn crisp and golden brown.
Remove the chips from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Allow them to cool completely before serving.
