Hand Painted Gift Wrapping Paper

This gift wrap is hand-painted on navy blue, cotton rag paper using all-natural, ethically sourced materials. The butterfly pattern is created using a unique, homemade paint recipe using eggshells and a plant-based adhesive with clove oil as a preservative.

In collaboration with Aneesha Reddy, we have created these beautiful gift wraps. She is a sustainable artist based in Hyderabad. Her art practice is an ode to the magic of nature through her choice of materials and subjects. Through her artwork and process, she challenges the notion of creating art that seemingly lasts in perpetuity using mass manufactured, unsustainable materials. Aneesha instead seeks to create art that treads so lightly on the environment that it can disappear without a trace.
