About the Author : S.L. Verma possesses a Master Degrees in Economics and in Library and Information Science and Ph.D. in Information Systems. He has entered the Library profession by choice and not by chance. He has nearly three decades of experience in the working of various libraries special as well as academic ranging from School Libraries to University Libraries and has been responsible for collection and dissemination of Information during the last decade. He has also been closely associated with the organization of workshops, seminars and training for the Librarians of Schools and Teacher Training institutes. Presently, he is working as Deputy Librarian in the Department of Library, Documentation and Information, NCERT, New Delhi.
