Product Description
The book is a collection of three unique stories of India Bamru is a food-loving shepherd girl of the Gaddi tribe whose tummy has a mind of its own. Her mother is certain there is a bhoot inside her belly and tries to cure her with Babaji ke churans, but to no avail. One day, Bamru’s dreams of getting invited to a Himachali dhaam come true. As she sits down to enjoy the feast, she gets lost. Will her rumbly tummy come to her rescue? Nila resides in the tiny coastal village of Mundirikuppam in Tamil Nadu where locals mainly work as manual cashew shellers with little hope for change. Distressed to see her Amma’s burnt hands from the caustic cashew nut oil, Nila embarks on a courageous quest to heal Amma and her entire village. Mili loves her chickens, especially the lively Chamki! As a member of the Korku tribe in Melghat, Mili has a deep reverence for nature and is fascinated by the fragrant mahua flowers. One day, her baby brother and Chamki go missing and news spreads that a leopardess is at large. Will Mili be able to save those whom she loves most?
