About Author : Saryoo Prasad, M.A., Ph.D. was born on the 13th March, 1934 in Bihar, Nalanda. He did M.A. in Hindi and awarded Ph.D. from Patna University on a Significant subject of Modern Linguistics A Descriptive Study of Magahi Phonology in 1966. He served as a Lecturer in B.R.S. College, Banka, Bhagalpur University and Nalanda College, Bihar Sharif, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya and lastly rendered his valuable services as the founder Director-cum-Principal of Nalanda Research Institute and College, Bihar Sharif. He had been also the editor of its renowned research quarterly journal Shodh for several years. Dr. Prasad has published a number of research papers in the Journals of repute on different topics of Modern Linguistics, Literature and Culture. He has several honours to his credit, one of them Vidya Vachaspati conferred on him by Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth, Bhagalpur. He has been invited on several occasions of national and international seminars to present his valuable research papers on significant topics.
