About the Author : Anisur Rahman is currently Professor and Director, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He holds Masters in Economics (AMU) as well as Sociology, M.Phil and Ph.D. (JNU). He has worked at the Institute of Applied Manpower Research, Planning Commission, Government of India. His areas of interest include South Asian Migration and Diaspora, Gulf Social Demography, Issues of Higher Education and Minorities. He has published 5 books and over 50 Research Papers in Reputed Journals. He visited Paris, France under Indo-French Social Scientist Exchange Programme thrice for research in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He has delivered over 100 invited talks in India and abroad.
