ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Professionally, a civil engineer and sustainability expert with a doctorate in Harbour - environmental engineering, Dr. Yogeshwari took voluntary retirement from Jawaharlal Nehru Port as Dy. General Manager after a successful career of 25 years to pursue her spiritual practice and service for a larger cause of humanity.
Presently consultant, training, and teaching faculty for environmental and sustainable development, she is also a Vastu Shastra consultant, painter, and writer, and practices Indian astrology.
Her spiritual sojourn that took root from her early childhood blossomed further with the blessings of many saints whom she introduced on the path. Dr. Yogeshwari has been inclined to Spirituality since early childhood, with core humanitarian and spiritual values deeply ingrained in her by her parents late Prof. Vyankatesh and Kamla Dande. Their living room has always been resonating with philosophical discussions on teachings of Sri Aurobindo, Raman Maharshi, Saint Dyaneshwar, Sri Shankaracharya, Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Srikrishna, Buddha, Jesus, and even of Western thinkers like Socrates, Kahlil Gibran, and Earnest Hemingway. Her parents introduced her to the Bhagavad Gita and Bible every early.
She got her spiritual initiation from Paramhans Shri Tukaram Maharaj at age of 16 and became a follower of the Nath Samprayadaya. Later, she also started unveiling the spiritual meaning of "Ovi", the poems Saint Dyaneshwara wrote. She writes spiritual articles in various forums, including Speaking Tree.
With the blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar, she started writing on various ancient spiritual texts which are less known due to the old language which is not in practice today. The aim behind the writings is to take ancient wisdom to the new generation and western countries with an authentic elucidation based on scientific and spiritual aspects and also a revelation of the mysteries hidden in the texts. In this series with the divine blessings of Gurutattva, she authored the following books:
"Shivyogini Lalleshwari" is a profound revelation of the wisdom of the 14th century Kashmiri saint, Sri Lalleshwari, which is hidden in her sayings called "Lalwakh". "Shrimad Amrutanubhav" is the supreme Grantha on Advaita - non-duel philosophy, written by Saint Dnyaneshwar in 13th Century. Scientific and spiritual elucidation on this Grantha reveals every aspect of Spirituality and gives a better perspective towards the ultimate truth of cosmic energy even more than Upanishads. This elucidation is written in English and Marathi. "ChangdevPasashti" is a monologue of Saint Dnyaneshwara that explains the true nature of Shiva and how a sincere seeker must do Sadhana - spiritual practice.
The Jeevanmukta Siddha Dnyaneshwara said the wisdom stream for a 1400-year-old Yogi Changdeva. In the 65 verses, cosmic wisdom given as a seed form. It's available in Marathi. Shri Pandurangashtakam is the eight divine verses said by Shrimad Adi Shankaracharya when he had the AtmaDarshan - cosmic vision of lord Panduranga of Pandharpur. With the divine blessings of Saint Dnyaneshwara, the Ashtakam has been explained, and the true form of Shri Panduranga - Vithhal has been put forward for the devotees and seekers. "Jeevanmukta Paramhans Tulkaram Maharaj" is the brief biography of the very less-known Sadguru Tukaram of Naath Sampradaya and is an offering of Dr Yogeshwari to her Guru. It is available in Marathi.
A staunch follower of the Art of Living, the blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar touched her like the rays of the Sun, which brings forth a crowning glory, taking her to the inner seat of herself, painting her life with the best of colours. She strongly believes in the three pillars of the Art of Living - Seva- service, Sadhana- spiritual practice and Satsang- praising the divinity. Her every work is an outcome of this trio.
She is graced with the wisdom stream of Kashmir Shaivagam. As a disciple of Nath Sampradaya, she carries the Guru's grace and remains unattached to the core and blissful.
This Grantha "Shri Shivsutra and Spandakarika" is a pearl of Guru Tattva's wisdom that unveils the scientific, spiritual, and mystical knowledge hidden in these complementary texts of Shaivagam. The unveiling happened in the pious blessings of Gurutattva. Her Seva is continuing with an upcoming elucidation on Dnyaneshwari - Bhavarth Deepika, Vidnyanbhairav Tantra and biography of saint Muktabai.
