অধ্যাপক সমীরণচন্দ্র চক্রবর্তী (Prof. Samiran Chandra Chakraborty) edited and translated the Aitareya Aranyaka into Bengali as Volume 16 of the Veda Granthamala, published by the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture. The Aitareya Aranyaka is an ancient Vedic text associated with the Rigveda. This Bengali edition, running to over 440 pages, makes the Aranyaka accessible to Bengali-reading scholars within the wider Ramakrishna Mission project of rendering Vedic literature into Indian vernacular languages.
