Vijaya Dabbe

Vijaya Dabbe (1951–2018) was a pioneering Kannada feminist writer, literary critic, and Kannada faculty member at the University of Mysore. Widely credited as one of the foremost feminist voices in modern Kannada literature, her monograph on the writer Anupama Niranjana was contributed to the Sahitya Akademi's Makers of Indian Literature series and was later translated into English.
