Vempati Kutumba Sastry

Vempati Kutumba Sastry is a prominent contemporary Sanskrit scholar, educator, and administrator. He previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi (now the Central Sanskrit University). He has dedicated a significant part of his career to the promotion and pedagogy of the Sanskrit language. His work includes developing accessible learning materials, such as the popular multi-level course संस्कृतस्वाध्याय (Samskritasvadhyaya) or 'Teach Yourself Samskrit', designed for self-study.
