Vasant Anant Apte

Vasant Anant Apte was a significant editor associated with the Anandashram Sanstha in Pune, a historic institution dedicated to publishing critical editions of Sanskrit texts. He played a key role in preparing numerous volumes for the renowned Anandashram Sanskrit Granthavali series. His editorial work spanned a vast range of subjects within the Indian knowledge systems, including Tantra, as in वामकेश्वरतन्त्रान्तर्गतनित्याषोडशिकार्णवः (Vāmakeśvaratantrāntargatanityāṣoḍaśikārṇavaḥ), Vedic texts like the रुद्राध्याय: (Rudrādhyāyaḥ), and Dharmashastra works such as the त्रिस्थलीसेतुः (Tristhalīsetuḥ).
