Vaishali Shroff is an award-winning Indian author, scriptwriter, and columnist based in Mumbai, known for her prolific contributions to children's literature with over 300 published stories. She explores themes of diverse languages, unexplored places, and untold histories in her works, which span both fiction and non-fiction. Shroff is the author of titles such as The Boy in The Dark Hole, Taatung tatung- and Other Amazing Stories of India's Diverse Languages, and Sita's Chitwan (Not Just a Walk in Nepal's First National Park). She received the AutHer Award in 2023.
