Vaidya Suresh Chaturvedi (1928–2017) was an eminent Ayurveda practitioner, scholar, and professor from Rajasthan, India, who significantly contributed to the field of Indian medicine. Formerly a professor at Bombay University and a PhD guide at the University of Mumbai, he authored over 30 books on Ayurveda in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, Gujarati, and Marathi. In recognition of his pioneering work and promotion of Indian medicine, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award, in 2000. Vaidya Chaturvedi was also a recipient of the 'Vaidya Kaviraj' degree and held advisory positions with organizations such as Emami Limited, Lupin Limited, and the Neem Foundation. His books, such as "Beauty and Health Through Ayurveda" and "All You Wanted To Know About Diet and Health Through Ayurveda," reflect his extensive knowledge and commitment to making Ayurvedic wisdom accessible for holistic well-being.
