Thilagavathi Chandu Lal

Thilagavathi Chandu Lal, a medical professional with degrees from Women's Christian College, Madras, and Christian Medical College, Vellore, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, UK, also holds a deep interest in South Indian history and religious studies. Drawing on her familiarity with Thomas sites and Thomas Christians in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, her book A Passage To India- The Apostle Thomas Goes to Build Mansions, published by the Institute of Asian Studies, Chennai, makes a case for the credibility of Apostle Thomas's apostolic journey to India in the first century, integrating historical, chronological, archaeological, and theological perspectives.
