Syed Osman Sher surveys the accounts of early Muslim chroniclers who wrote about India in India: As Seen by Early Muslim Chroniclers (Regency Publications), drawing on a range of historical texts to reconstruct how medieval Muslim writers perceived and described the subcontinent. Sher also authored The Culture of Tolerance and other works.
