Swami Tejomayananda

Swami Tejomayananda (born Sudhakar Kaitwade in 1950) is a revered Indian spiritual leader and the former head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide, a position he held from 1994 to 2017. A disciple of Swami Chinmayananda, he is widely known as "Pujya Guruji" for his profound yet accessible teachings on Vedanta, delivered in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Marathi, and Sanskrit. He has authored over 100 books, providing commentaries on numerous Vedantic texts, and under his leadership, the Chinmaya Mission significantly expanded its global reach. He received the Padma Bhushan in 2016 for his extensive contributions to spreading the knowledge of Vedanta. His numerous works include "Saranagati (Surrender Unto Him)," "Bhakti Sudha," "Harimeede Stotram," and Telugu translations such as జీవితం ఒక ఆట (Jeevitham Oka Ata: The Game of Life) and విభీషణ గీతా (Vibhisana Gita).
