Susmita Mukherjee

Susmita Mukherjee explores the lives of women across social strata — from the marginalised to the powerful — through eleven short stories gathered from nearly four decades of work in theatre, film, and television. A graduate of the National School of Drama, she has pursued a career spanning thirty-seven years as an actress across all three performance forms. Her collection Baanjh: Incomplete Lives of Complete Women was published by Readomania in January 2021.
