Surya P. Subedi is a distinguished British-Nepalese jurist, Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds, and an Honorary Fellow at Exeter College, University of Oxford. He holds a DPhil from Oxford and a Doctor of Civil Law (DCL) from the same university, recognizing his significant contributions to international law. Professor Subedi has served as the UN Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in Cambodia and as a human rights advisor to the British Foreign Secretary.
