Surendra Nath Jauhar

Surendra Nath Jauhar (1903–1986) was a devoted disciple who first met the Mother at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in 1939 and, with her blessings, founded the Delhi Branch of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and its school in 1956. He was a prolific writer within the Aurobindonian tradition and maintained an extensive correspondence with the Mother. My Mother, published by Sri Aurobindo Ashram, reflects his personal experience of the Mother's spiritual presence and guidance.
