Surendra Mohanty

Surendra Mohanty (1922–1990) was a distinguished Odia fiction writer who shaped post-independence modern Odia prose. He examines the life and poetry of Dinakrushna Das (born 1650), a significant Odia poet of the period following the Panchasakhas, in a monograph published by Sahitya Akademi as part of the Makers of Indian Literature series.
