Sudarshan Iyengar

Sudarshan Iyengar is a Gandhian economist who served as Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith, the university founded by Mahatma Gandhi, and was Chair Professor of Gandhian Philosophy at IIT Bombay. In In the Footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi and Sanitation, published by the Publications Division of the Government of India, he draws on the digitised Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi to trace Gandhiji's extensive writings and practice around cleanliness and public sanitation. He is the author of more than sixty-five research articles and eight books on Gandhian studies.
