Subba Rao writes scripts for Amar Chitra Katha, India's storied illustrated comics series. He contributed scripts to the Amar Chitra Katha Mahabharata series and authored titles including stories of Bhagat Singh, Kumbhakarna, Ajatasatru, tales of Vishnu, Yudhisthira, Yayati, the Pandavas in hiding, tales from the Upanishads, Veer Savarkar, Ramshastri, Jasma, and Naganand, available in Gujarati.
