SriYogeshwaranand Paramhans, formerly known as Shri Vyas Deva, was initiated into Sanyas in 1962, adopting the name Swami Yogeshwaranand Saraswati. He left home in his teens in quest of knowledge and higher life, travelling extensively across India, particularly the Himalayas, and establishing Ashrams at Rishikesh, Uttarkashi, and Gangotri. He is recognized as an authority on yoga and self-realization, having personally practiced various Samadhis. His work, "Science of Divine Sound (A Latest Research on Self and God Realization with the Medium of Sound)," explores techniques for self and God realization through sound and mantra, particularly the importance of pranava (OM).
