Sri Hemadri

Sri Hemadri (late 13th century CE) was an influential minister under the Yadava dynasty and a prolific Sanskrit scholar. He is best known for authoring `चतुर्वर्गचिन्तामणिः` (Caturvarga Cintamani), a monumental digest of Hindu religious law and custom that systematically compiles and analyzes various aspects of dharmaśāstra, including rituals, vows, and charitable acts. The work is published by Chaukhambha Sanskrit Sansthan, a prominent publishing house for Indological studies.
