Kanwal Sibal served at the pinnacle of the Indian Foreign Service, becoming Foreign Secretary in 2002 after postings as Ambassador to Turkey, Egypt, France, and Russia, and as Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington. Snowflakes of Time, Memories and Musings, published by Bloomsbury in 2016, is his debut poetry collection — personal verse shaped by moods, memory, and reflection accumulated across a long career in diplomacy.
