Shrinivasa Varakhedi

Shrinivasa Varakhedi is a distinguished contemporary Sanskrit scholar and academic administrator, specializing in Nyāya (Indian logic) and computational linguistics. He currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of the Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, having previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek. Varakhedi is a pioneer in the application of Indian grammatical and logical systems to modern computer science, and he has guided numerous research projects in this area. He is a prolific author and editor, having published works such as पाश्चात्त्यं तर्कशास्त्रम् (Pāścāttyaṃ Tarkaśāstram), a handbook on Western logic, and edited collections like गणकपाणिनीयम् (Gaṇakapāṇinīyam) on Sanskrit computational linguistics.
