Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati

Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati (Tembe Swami, 1854–1914) was a revered Maharashtrian saint regarded within the Dattatreya sampradaya as an incarnation of Dattatreya himself. He composed the Marathi devotional text श्रीदत्तमाहात्म्य (Shri Datta Mahatmya) in 1901 during a chaturmas retreat on the banks of the Narmada.
