Shri Majjiva Goswami

Jiva Goswami (c. 1513–1598) was one of the most prominent theologians and philosophers of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. A nephew of the brothers Rupa and Sanatana Goswami, he was a prolific author whose extensive body of work provided a systematic philosophical foundation for the school's teachings. His major works include the Sat-sandarbhas, a six-part treatise on Vaishnava metaphysics, and the Gopala Champu. The work श्रीश्रीसर्वसम्बादिनी (Sri Sri Sarvasambadini) is his own elaborate commentary on the Sat-sandarbhas.
