Shiladitya Sarkar is a writer, painter, and art critic based in Mumbai who has contributed essays on art, politics, and culture to publications including the Times of India, The Telegraph, The Indian Express, The Hindu, Art India, and The Statesman. His novel Clayfaces, published by Blue Pencil, is set in Bengal and traces the fractured relationship between two brothers through rival accounts and competing investigations. His earlier books include Thirst of a Minstrel and Abstract Reality.
