Seema Anand

Seema Anand is a London-based mythologist, storyteller, author, and sexual health educator, holding a Ph.D. in Narratology. She is widely recognized for her work on women's sexuality, particularly her reinterpretation of the Kama Sutra, presented in books like 'The Arts of Seduction' and 'Two Studies on the Kama Sutra'. Anand challenges traditional patriarchal views, aiming to make discussions about intimacy, pleasure, menstruation, and menopause accessible and dignified. She lectures on various aspects of Indian philosophy and mythology, including Tantra, the Mahavidyas, the Mahabharata, and the Bhagavad Gita, and her work is associated with a UNESCO project for preserving endangered oral traditions.
