S. Krishnamurthi

S. Krishnamurthi writes in Tamil on epigraphy, temple inscriptions, and classical Tamil literature. His works span copper-plate records from Chidambaram, hero-stones (Natukarkal), the temples and literary traditions of Pennaagadam, the archaeology of Kanchipuram district, and critical editions of ancient commentaries on the Tirukkural drawn from palm-leaf manuscripts. His books are published by Meiyappan Publishing House and by the U.V. Swaminatha Iyer Library, Chennai.
