S. K. Belvalkar

Shripad Krishna Belvalkar (1881–1967) was an eminent Indian Indologist and Sanskrit scholar, widely recognized for his monumental contributions to Vedic and classical Sanskrit literature. He served as the General Editor of the Critical Edition of the Mahabharata at the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute (BORI) in Pune. Belvalkar edited ज्ञानदीपिका (भीष्मपर्वव्याख्यानम्) (Jnana Dipika), which is Devabodha's commentary on the Bhismaparvan of the Mahabharata.
