Ryoshun Kajihama

Ryoshun Kajihama holds a B.A. and M.A. from Ryukoku University, Kyoto, and a Ph.D. from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi. He served as a professor in the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Setsunan University, Osaka, and specialises in Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan culture. Folk Tales from Eastern Tibet is an English translation of his Japanese-language collection of twenty-eight traditional tales from the Amdo region, published by the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in 2004.
