RVS Mani
RVS Mani is a former officer of the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and a public commentator on internal security. He is the author of Hindu Terror: Insider Account from Ministry of Home Affairs, published by Garuda Prakashan, in which he sets out his account of how the "Saffron Terror" or "Hindu Terror" narrative was constructed inside the MHA.
In 2009 Mani publicly alleged that he had been pressured to sign affidavits and prepare documents that he believed misrepresented the investigations into the Mecca Masjid, Samjhauta Express and Malegaon bombings.
