Ravi Gupta

Ravi Gupta served in the Indian Police Service before quitting to lead the National Film Development Corporation, where he worked with filmmakers including Satyajit Ray, Shyam Benegal, and Aparna Sen and supported debut features by Mira Nair, Sudhir Mishra, and Vinod Chopra. He is currently Dean and Director of Whistling Woods International and speaks eight languages including Spanish, French, and German. His novel When God Went to Hell is a satirical allegory that uses elements of fantasy and humour to examine the moral condition of the modern world.
