Ramesh Kumar Pandey

Professor Ramesh Kumar Pandey is an eminent Indian Sanskrit scholar, educator, and academic administrator. He served as the founder Vice-Chancellor of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi, a central university that evolved from a deemed university under his leadership. A prodigious scholar, he earned his M.A. and Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University and a D.Litt. in Sanskrit Sahitya from Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University. With over three decades of experience, he has published 46 books and 31 research articles, and has traveled internationally to promote Sanskrit language and literature. His works include दीक्षान्तभाषणसङ्ग्रहः (Dikshant Bhashan Sangraha) and वैदिकदर्शनविमर्श (Vedic Darshana Vimarsha), reflecting his deep engagement with Sanskrit studies and Indian philosophy.
