Ralph Thomas Hotchkin Griffith (1826–1906) was an English Indologist who spent over fifty years in India in the service of Indian education, rising to Principal of Benares Sanskrit College. He produced landmark English translations of the Rigveda, Samaveda, Atharvaveda, and the White Yajurveda. The Texts of the White Yajurveda, published in 1899, was his final major Vedic translation.
