Rakesh Varma

Rakesh Varma is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer who took voluntary retirement to pursue writing. A government of India-recognised leadership trainer and anthropologist, he has contributed to various newspapers and writes Urdu poetry under the pen name Rahi. His novel Just a Housewife, published by Rupa Publications India, examines what it means to be human through the lens of domestic life. He holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
