Radhakamal Mukerjee

Radhakamal Mukerjee (1889–1968) was Professor of Economics and Sociology and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Lucknow, where he founded the university's first Chair of Sociology in 1921. A recipient of the Padma Bhushan in 1962, he was known for his interdisciplinary approach to social science.
