R. S. Sugirtharajah

R. S. Sugirtharajah, also known as R. Satchidanandan Sugirtharajah, is a distinguished Sri Lankan Tamil scholar, prominent in the fields of biblical studies and postcolonial criticism. Formerly a faculty member at the University of Birmingham, he is recognized for his pioneering work in postcolonial biblical interpretation and has published extensively on hermeneutics, theology, and cultural studies. He is the author of நூல்கள் நூலகங்கள் நூலகர்கள் (Nuulkal Nuulakankal Nuulakarkal), which discusses books, libraries, and librarians in Tamil, and கலாச்சாரக் கவனிப்புகள்: சச்சிதானந்தன் சுகிர்தராஜா (Kalaaccaarak Kavanippukal), a collection of cultural observations.
