R. Madhivanan

R. Madhivanan investigates the linguistic connections between ancient Tamil and other Indian languages. His book Presence of Ancient Tamil Words in Other Indian Languages, published by the Central Institute of Classical Tamil, Chennai, emerged from a sanctioned research project (2012–2013) in which he examined shared lexical roots and argued for Tamil's historical influence on the vocabulary of other South Asian languages.
