R. C. Majumdar

Ramesh Chandra Majumdar (1888–1980) was one of India's foremost historians. He was the general editor and principal contributor to the eleven-volume series The History and Culture of the Indian People, a landmark work spanning prehistoric times to 1947, published by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. His work ഭരത ബൃഹത്ചരിത്രം (Bharatha Brihatcharithram), published in Malayalam by The State Institute of Languages, Kerala, makes his authoritative account of Indian history available to Malayalam readers.
