Prof. S.K. RamachandraRao

S.K. Ramachandra Rao (1925–2006) was an Indian Sanskrit scholar and professor of psychology whose books in Kannada and English encompass Indian philosophy, art, iconography, and Tantric tradition. He undertook major research on ancient Indian texts and rare manuscripts, including a projected thirty-two-volume English treatment of the Rigveda. The Yantras, published by Sri Satguru Publications in 1988, surveys the geometry, symbolism, and ritual use of yantras, complementing his related works on the Sri Chakra and Tantra.
