Preeti Barua

Preeti Barua examines the life and poetry of Nalinibala Devi (1898–1977), the Sahitya Akademi Award-winning Assamese poet, in this monograph published in Sahitya Akademi's Makers of Indian Literature series. Barua was herself a prominent figure in Assamese literature and received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2004 for her translation of Rathchakra.
