Pratibha Satpathy

Pratibha Satpathy is a leading Odia poet who received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2001 for her collection Tanmaya Dhuli, published in English as The Enchanted Dust. The collection has been translated into multiple Indian languages and is recognised for its portrayal of the transcendence of the human spirit. She was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in January 2025.
