Prasanta Chakravarty

Prasanta Chakravarty is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Delhi. His research interests include early modern European culture, literature and religion, and political philosophy. In Time, Doubt and Wonder in the Humanities, Chakravarty addresses the essential role of literature and art, arguing for their importance in making sense of temporality and navigating periods of political turmoil. He is also the author of Like Parchment in the Fire and The Opulence of Existence, and has edited several critical anthologies.
