Prabhakar Narayan Kawthekar

Prabhakar Narayan Kawthekar (1923–2015) was a distinguished Indian Sanskrit scholar, poet, and academic. He held the position of Vice-Chancellor at Vikram University, Ujjain, and was widely recognized for his profound contributions to Sanskrit literature and education, including numerous scholarly works and poetic compositions. The Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri in 2002. Kawthekar is the author of `भूलोक-विलोकनम् (Bhu Loka-Vilokanam)`, a two-volume work.
