P. N. Oak

Purushottam Nagesh Oak (1917–2007) was an Indian author known for his historical revisionist theories. A former officer in the Indian National Army and journalist, he founded the Institute for Rewriting Indian History to promote his views. Oak argued that many historical structures in India and around the world, such as the Taj Mahal and Westminster Abbey, were originally Hindu temples. His book "World Vedic Heritage" presents his thesis of a global Vedic civilization as the origin of all major cultures and religions.
