O.P. Sharma Sarathi

O. P. Sharma 'Sarathi' was a Dogri poet, short-story writer, and novelist whose novel Nanga Rukh received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1979. In this volume for the Makers of Indian Literature series, he examines the life and work of Kehri Singh Madhukar (born 1930), a Dogri poet from Jammu who edited the literary journal Shiraza from 1962 to 1974 and whose own work Main Mela Ra Janun received the Sahitya Akademi Award.
