Nitin Gokhle

Nitin Gokhale examines Indian military history, national security, and strategic affairs through journalism and long-form research. Over four decades he has reported from India's north-east, covered the Kargil conflict in 1999, and reported from Sri Lanka during Eelam War IV. He is the founder-editor of the digital platforms BharatShakti.in and StratNewsGlobal.com, and teaches at India's Defence Services Staff College and national war colleges. His book on the 1965 Indo-Pak war draws on that deep reporting background to reconstruct the conflict's origins and outcome.
